| Bio: | Name: Elizabeth “Liza” Bayles Age: 26 D.O.B.: February 10 Blood Type: B+ Race: Born Wolf Personality: Liza is a breath of fresh air in a stuffy room. She is very optimistic and very friendly. In high school, she was that one popular kid who would just sit by someone who was all alone, or helped someone pick up their books in the hallway. She is friendly almost to the point of health hazard, she probably would have gotten kidnapped as a kid, had her parents not moved out of New York. She has a sense of humor, and uses it mainly to pick on her brother and friends, but always in a loving way. She is very loyal to the ones she loves and would do anything to help her family. She tries to cheer people up, even if it means laughing at her own expense. Once in college, after her best friend had gotten dumped, Liza threw a banana peal on the floor and casually walked and slipped on it, as if on accident, sending her friend into peals of laughter. Sexuality: Heterosexual History: Elizabeth or Liza, is the last of the three children born to Rhett and Maria Bayles. They had recently moved from Queens, New York to Scarlet Oak to give their baby girl and their two growing boys a chance to start life in a quieter place. Growing up, she didn’t see much of her older brother Val as he was becoming restless and constantly roaming. So instead, she became close to Damian and would follow him around as soon as she learned to walk. A little while later, Val decided to move back to Queens and try his hand at becoming an officer there. Liza was only six at the time so she didn’t know what had happened only that her eldest brother stopped coming home and “Dami” became more sullen and withdrawn. Fortunately, things were patched up between them and things went back to normal that is until night Val was murdered. Liza at this point was nine years old. She had heard her mother wail after a phone call and her father quietly comforting her. At his funeral, she had asked the same question all children not exposed to death ask, “Mommy, why is Val sleeping in a box?” Her mother just broke down into more tears and Damian ran from funeral. Later that year, Damian had turned to alcohol and had eventually become estranged from his family. She felt guilty for what had happened and thought that it was her fault that Damian had gone away as children sometimes connect irrational things together. So she began to visit him day after day, trying her best to console him even when she was tired from school until finally, thanks to the combined efforts of herself and Damian’s partner, they were able to help Damian turn his life around. This event has brought brother and sister closer and has since healed their strained relationship. Today, Liza is twenty-six and she just moved back to Scarlet Oak with a degree in psychology so she can help people who have once been like her brother. Since the Light of May: Special Skills/Abilities:(aside from natural werewolf abilities, none.) Personal Weaknesses:. Phobia: Liza is absolutely terrified of thunder and lightning. Normal rain? Little showers and drizzle? No problem. But throw in the sound and light show and she's done for. She has near panic attacks, complete with shaking, dizziness, and trouble breathing. And if a storm hits around phasing time, better hope she is in a remote place. She goes ballistic in her animal form, and even though she was a born wolf, her fear takes away all reason and thought. Gullible -Liza is tragically gullible, she will believe just about anything you tell her. Once, when she was just starting out, her boyfriend told her that he had to leave because he had to go on a missionary trip to South Africa to help teach children English(when in reality he was going home to his wife and child.) and she believed it without any hesitation. Liza gets swept up in things. Things that spark her curiosity are likely to be questioned and the answers believed. There is an exploitable innocence to her. Afraid of contact-She’s afraid of sexual contact on an instinctive level. While physically demonstrative, free with hugs and cheek kisses, hand holding and gestures of comfort, any touching that leans towards sexual makes her nervous. She may want to , dream of it, but she has to overcome this obstacle. She is scared that once she mates, she may regret it, so sex is not exactly her friend. Personal Strengths:Dependable: If Liza's got anything going for her, it's that she's dependable to a fault. She'll keep secrets, fulfill her obligations, and always be there for friends and family alike. Trustworthy-people instinctively trust Liza, she is charismatic and kind, so her job is made a little easier because she doesn't have to gain people's trust. Intelligence-Liza is smart, she can think things through pretty quickly too, if she is in a tight spot. Family: Her older brother, Damian lives in an apartment complex somewhere in Scarlet Oak. Their parents, Rhett and Maria, live at their home not too far away. Val, her eldest brother, was killed several years ago. Living Conditions: her brother's apartment complex, her parent's made her swear to stay close to Damian, when she got back into town. Career/Job: trauma therapist. She helps victims of violence, abuse, rape, family members who have lost someone due to murder, children with trauma issues. etc... She missed Scarlett Oak, she missed the leaves changing color in the fall, and the way that the town got quiet after the tourists left, and it felt good to be back. She decided that the first thing on her to-do list was to take a run in the woods. She walked down the street casually, smiling and waving at people that she met as she went.When she got to the edge of town near the forest, she looked around quickly before stripping, and then she phased. It was like taking off soaking clothes on a cold day, her limbs shivered in anticipation, and her muscles tightened as hairs sprouted over her arms and legs.In a few moments, She was on all fours and she was the chocolate brown wolf that she both loved and feared. She took off, sprinting like a runner after a gunshot, enjoying the freedom that she felt. The wind blew caressing her fur, the steady sound of her paws on the ground and her rhythmic breathing, lulled Liza in a way that only running could. She took a deep breath and knew she was home. Journal Entry: Diary, I think I did it again. I think that I may have scared another guy away. All he wanted was a kiss, but I freaked out and jumped away. He said he couldn't stand to be with someone he couldn't touch and left. Why do I do this? Is it really so horrible to let someone in? I just don't know anymore, I see other were-people finding their mates all around me, and it makes me afraid. What if I'm not right for anyone? What if I never find my mate? I don't know, but I think it's time I that I found out.
